Andrea Franceschi - Twister communications group

Andrea Franceschi

Managing Director - Public Affairs

He joined Twister's Corporate & Financial Communication division in early 2019 following clients active in Corporate & Investment Banking, M&A, Asset Management, Private Banking, Multi Family Office, Risk Management, Fintech, Proptech, Welfare. Since October 2020 he has led the "Public Affairs" division and the Rome Office, following retail and institutional clients. His path in communication began back in 1977 when, at the age of 15, he co-founded Radio Viareggio 97.7, one of the "free" radios of the time. In love with his native Tuscany (of which he has kept the pungent spirit), after studying law at Pisa University, he worked for a long time in the banking sector both as a manager (Banca Nazionale del Lavoro) and as a consultant for Burson-Marsteller - WPP Group (Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Ina-Unim, Crediop-Axa) up to the role of Head of Communication of ABN AMRO - Italy in the hot years of Capitalia and Banca Antonveneta, dealing in particular with the wholesale bank and derivative products for private investors, launching the Certificates market in Italy. In recent years he has been involved in business development for Standard Ethics, a London-based sustainability rating agency (ESG). Passionate about technology applied to communication since the beginning of the Internet (he was a consultant for Confindustria - Federcomin, Inferentia and Comdata Group), he has followed various institutions and companies based in Rome (Aeroporti di Roma, Associazione Nazionale Comuni d'Italia, EUR Spa, IFEL, ANAS) until he became Head of Communications for the Transport and TLC Commission of the Italian Parliament - Chamber of Deputies in the 16th legislature. In 2013 he became the first General Manager of Confindustria Radio Televisioni, the trade association of Italian broadcasters. A journalist since 2011, he has been an accredited professional member of the FERPI Federazione Italiane delle Relazioni Pubbliche since 2004 and in the same year he completed his economic studies at the London Business School (MBA-ADP50). Sensitive to the theme of civic commitment, he has collaborated with the Faculty of Economics and Communication of "La Sapienza" University of Rome, the LUISS Business School, the Faculty of Marketing & Digital Communication of LUMSA, IlSole24Ore Business School and Confassociazioni - Confederation of Professional Associations (he is Secretary General of the Coaching Division). Perennially on a diet, he tries to infect - to no avail - his 15-year-old son with a passion for running, motorbikes, watches and sports shoe design.
